‘Reptile creatures’ is a Southsea community group created by Darren Stubs and his partner for reptile lovers to connect and share their pets and creative habitats.

The idea for the online group came about when Darren was looking online for reptile groups but only found groups for specific reptilian. He decided to create a group where reptile enthusiasts of all different species could join and connect.

Darren says, “the aim of the group is to welcome everyone that has reptiles and help them in the best way we can to help them provide the best care for their reptiles.”

The group was created in November last year after Darren’s love for reptile’s immediately sparked after he was gifted a ‘Herman Tortoise’ and from there his love for reptiles only grew.

The group currently has 138 members and encourages everyone who has an interest in the cold-blooded to join and share.

The group promotes its followers to post pictures and videos of their pets, the group also provides a platform for its members to share ideas for various reptile enclosures and tips to take better care of them.

The group caters to all species from bearded dragon to snakes all are welcome, the goal is to create a community where reptiles are taken care of in a proper manner outside of their natural habitats.

Darren added “I have really enjoyed being a part of this amazing community and have really appreciated their support.”
